Provided Quantity Surveying services for the exhibition content at this State of the Art Museum, Gallery and Archive for Plymouth and the South West

PT Projects provided the cost management from cost plan to completion of this state of the art museum exhibition. The exhibition included a large variety of different exhibit types including vast showcase displays, audio visual interactives and displays and the installation and production of large scale models. We also provided the Client and Designers with tendering, procurement and contract administration advice.

Nearing completion of the works the Covid-19 pandemic hit the project which halted progress. Through collaboration with the Client, Design team and Contractor, we were able to agree a commercially sensible and safe approach to complete the works at a later date, thereby minimising disruption and delay to the programme. PT Projects were also able to assist and provide advice relating to the contractual mechanisms which were needed to be extended due to the delayed completion date.
